How to do a secure trade?

I was wondering how do you do a secured trade? Ive seen some people request me to drop them on the ground but from my experience when I drop weapons they disappear 75% of the time. Backpacks are worst when I drop backpacks they just disappear 100% of the time.

I want trade items but I dont want to lose my items in the process before the trade finish.

Is it wise to set up temporary tent and do it from there?

Dropping your shit on the ground should work, just dont leave it to long.

I tend to unload before going to somebody, at least when they kill me then they have nothing.

So dropping your stuff should work.

If I can find one that would be great. I do my daily round to NE airfield, 2 crash heli, Stary, and NW airfield for the last week and still no luck.
