On a serious note, why are you guys running a version of the alpha that is "not ready for release" at an event? Just to generate hype? Also, what's up with 1.7.2.5? It's still not SixLauncher-approved but not only is almost every server running it, there are no updates at all about why it isn't released or new fixes for artifacts.

Dogs are for the tears that strengthen Rocket somehow....his words not mine.He seems to feed off the suffering and what better way than to "give" pets to the carebears fully knowing they will die easily.

Nah, let's fix bugs and THEN add content which will break the previous fixed bugs again. That's how most people think here, like it's a game they paid for and they demand stuff to be fixed.

I'm kinda confused as to why there is no news about development after the still-not-rocket-approved patch 1.7.2.5 was supposed to fix artifacts.

Not sure you are replying to me, but that's not what I meant. I simply don't understand why they are running 1.7.3 on gamescom when we have no news at all, not even regarding patch 1.7.2.5 which was released a week ago.

I'm lazy. I know I can manually install, I've done it a couple times before installing SixLauncher. The reason that it's not SixLauncher-approved says to me that the patch has not done what it was supposed to do.

The devs are going to conferences, having meeting with console people, etc. There is a LOT of news on exactly what is going on.

You'll be able to befriend wild dogs by feeding them meat. They'll hang around with you and slowly become more valuable, by doing things like growling when other players are near, staying on command, and 'tracking' - whatever that works out as (Players? loot? Zombies?).

While it's not been confirmed fully, Rocket did say that when he introduces dogs he expects the forums to fill up pretty quick with QQ over people's dogs dying. And it's not like he's pulled any punches before...

So expect fully shootable dogs in the next patch.
