Why are so many 'Bronies' into DayZ?

When i first heard about this MLP shit i was like "are you kidding me?"

but my friend made me watch this friggin episode 1 and i was like "what the actual fuck did i watch"

1 week later i've found myself finishig the first season...

Those morons shouting out stuff like "they're just immature kids" are non better than these "get a reallife" fags...

Haven't you watched any of your childhood fav series and actually got stuff that you didn't got as a kid?

You shall not judge the show because it's about ponies, but the meaning behind it.

it seems that an unusually high number of members here are also Bronies.

it just looks like that because they are so vocal about their pony stuff. for example, you have no clue what hobbies / stuff i like, because i don't have phony avatars and signatures nor do i gather in "<xyz> meetings". but they all do. it seems they like to scream "here i am" or something, and gather in big groups because they're so weak alone. it's just the way ponys are. (i'm not being quite serious here, relax!)

so, a vocal minority always "looks" like a damn big part of the majority, even if they're not.

I think there are so many bronies here because they are the same demographic as Dayz. Late teen/early adults who are heterosexual are very common both here and the brony community. Since this data is separate to each other, you are incredibly likely to get an overlap between the 2 communities.

Now, bronies are people who use the internet quite often (otherwise how would they find out about the show?). Also, Dayz is only really advertised deep in the internet too (It's not a real mainstream game like Mass Effect or CoD). Using logic, these two facts can be joined to say bronies are more likely to find out about Dayz meaning they will be more prominent in these official forums

This may sound retarded to most of you but MLP is quite a breather from all other cartoons and animes. The plot is surprisingly captivating for a show with almost no trace of violence (because bumps, falls, etc) or any degree of porn, animation is brilliant, I'm currently learning flash and the more I dig deeper the more I stand in awe at how epic this cartoon is.

Why is it manly!? BECAUSE we don't need manly videos to make us feel manly. Even more, we are manly enough to openly admit what we like, regardless of social standards

Forum profile pics, forum signatures, MLP memes, Facebook profile pics. Then, it's just plain laughable that people argue it's a mature show that's also intended for male adults. The show is about magical talking ponies with names like Rainbow Dash. It's obviously intended for pre-teen girls.
