Why are so many 'Bronies' into DayZ?

People are allowed to do what they want, as long as it doesnt hurt other people. The issue with most "Bronies" as you call them, is that they basically go around on the internet making Brony type posts just to get noticed. The only reason people react so negatively towards them as well is because they act so high and mighty.

In the end of it all, everyone needs to act a little more meek and less self righteous about themselves, what ever their position is.

I think it's also a stereotype we get as well. You see something effed up and in response, people will come to hate it. Just as much as people will come to love it.

Do I recognize MLP Bronies are out of the target range of the show? Damn straight. But I also acknowledge that a lot of things become unexpected. Like a mod for a not so popular military simulator getting over 1 million players and going standalone in just 4 months of release. It's just how things are.

Though I do like to state: Us as Bronies enjoy other Brony company, we post MLP stuff mostly to be recognized by other Bronies. It's like wearing a Dr. Who T-shirt in real life and hoping a colleague will go "Oh hey! I like that show, too!" while everyone else in the office is going "What?"

First off, the thread was geniune, and has stayed geniune. The OP simply wanted to know why MLP is so popular in DayZ, I see nothing but a mature thread with some bad apples, but those bad apples have not turned into a flamewar of anykind. I see no point in locking it AT ALL.

Second; If we arent a community, what are we? Fanbase? A fanbase is a community, Sigh.. Sorry I didnt realise that we we're just hundreds and thousands of people who just liked a show and show our loyalty to the show by posting hundreds of fan art, songs and videos.
