What should I bring when I go to hunt for vehicles?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering what my little squad should bring with us when we go to hunt for vehicles.

Do we need to have everything on hand to repair a vehicle fully?

Engine Parts - (6 inventory slots)

Main Rotary Parts - (6 inventory slots)

Fuel Tank Parts - (4 inventory slots)

Wheel x 4 - (24 inventory slots each)

Scrap Metal - (3 inventory slots)

Jerry Can with Gasoline - (3 inventory slots)

That's 46 slots of gear spread between the three people in our squad. I just want to make sure we need to collect all this and drag it around the country-side before we start. Also, how does someone find a vehicle? From what I've heard, you can always steal one from a clan camp in the far West or North but they tend to reset the server as you drive away, if they don't manage to shoot you first.

What would some of the more experienced players recommend to help my group get our first vehicle?

Yah want a quad to go vehicle hunting ;) ... now, there is a lil farm house, about 1km north north east o the north east airfield.. can have two at a time... you will only need gas and two wheels to get running... but yah will need engine and or gas tank parts to fix fully per bike... its not a spawn on maps either. Then load yah bikes up with jerry cans so yah got the range to scour the north and west for these elusive camps... And to get around server reset, just save vehicle in a hiding place clear o enemy camp that you can find in case o a reset quickly after stealing, then do yah trekking, and if its resset, you will know where it will respawn... they wont.

Okay I feel really silly asking this but... how can you tell the difference between the vehicles that need repaired and the ones you can just hop in and drive? Of course, I've never come across one you can just hop in and drive; the only vehicles I've found have been a bicycle that wouldn't move and an overturned quad someone had abandoned. How do you know what the vehicles need to be repaired? How can you tell which ones you *can* repair when you see them vs. the rusted heaps that are sitting everywhere?

You'll be able to tell, their much more vibrant colored. Aka, they look much different than the ones that are destroyed. When you go next to them a driving wheel or seat will pop up. If their a humvee or rusted, their no good.

you can get away with just taking a couple of wheels and a couple of jerry cans, once you move it you can fix her up proper, i say todo it this way because your never the only one looking for the vehicles.

Patience, instinct, maybe a bike and enough food and drink. Then search for hidden vehicles along the northern and western edge of the map. We're still looking, though.^^
