BulletCatcher (DayZ) 7 Posted August 13, 2012 I am not sure as I only have my own personal experience to go by but I believe it may have a small effect on your overall visibility. For example, I was in Berezino last night and came across one in the hotel. I put it on and exited the hotel the same way I came in and followed the same route out of town. On my way into town my overall visibilty varied from 1 - 2 'bars' while crouch walking and on my way out it droped to 0 - 1.
