Hi guys! Hope all the St8up clan members are ok. I'm wondering if any had notice how bad the server is lately. I supposed that the empty server is falling in the tendency that everybody, from one cause or another, is stop playing. I logged yesterday and managed to get 8 fps in-game. Just wanted to know if someone can restart the server. Thanks! PS: Don't take this post from the wrong side, just wanna let you guys know.

You also have to bare in mind that a lot of games are coming out. Borderlands 2, BF3:Armored Kill and so on... Personally I quit playing to gave some time to MW3 (yeah, shocking) and Armored Kill... and very likely get myself a copy of borderlands... But I am very interested in this mod and the standalone. I like to visit the forums from time to time, play a couple of hours on the weekends and that's it.

Hell no. You can't stop killing people back then, why do it now? You were able to chose between 2 play styles, now keep having fun. I'm a survivor atm, help some guys to become a hero and then kill another guys to be survivor again, and that's my play style. I do agree that there's some cap on it. And if you really want to become a hero buy another OA copy...

That's incorrect. The whole weekend played without that obnoxious brown box and everything worked perfectly.

Hi guys! Quick question: Does anything happened to the server? Seems like 2 entire camps has been deleted.

It just me or I got killed twice by hackers? How the hell can I get shot in 002 086!?! Fuck... oh well, this is dayz. Fucking hackers...

Faith in humanity: Restored. So... I lost all my gear due to glitches and spawn in the coast (near Electro) with absolutely nothing. I said to myself: wth... started running like a douche around the city and a ghillie dude cross my path (in my mind, yey im going to die) he start talking to me thru direct comm and he show me some bodies to loot. The supermarket was blown away. I was angry and he give me a delicious can of pasta. I started running to the destroyed supermarket to loot a couple of bodies and i find all the gear that i could ask for. I was walking my way out of electro when i started hearing gun shots. I run to the east side of electro and saw a sniper killing all the people at sniper hill, i was preparing my shot until i saw that he was running away from electro with 3-4 zeds in him. I then thought he may be the guy who helped me, i chose to run away. After running for a while I encountered a dude with a broken leg in the far bridge of kamenka and morphine him. The weird thing is that he started to following me, i didn't want to expose our camp so a friend of mine ended his life, sorry about that. I tried to warning you tho. TL:DR; thanks ghillie guy in electro... yeah!!! i'm hero again :D

I agree with some guys here. Yes, the mod is broke as shit and there's a lot of bugs in it. Do i care? no. Is it affecting my gameplay? no. The thing is I just try to enjoy the ride. This is a great free alpha mod and although I get very angry whenever i died for strange reasons i calm down and run to find a makarov :). The update will be out when the update is out. At the moment we can't ask for anything else, Rocket never put this mod for public use, it just got around. When the standalone comes out i will definitely ask for answers for every problem i encounter. In the meantime i will keep playing this, and have a blast. Armored kill is around the corner so that is going to represent a little pause for this. But i will then return; if 1.7.3 is out, great. If not, who cares! i didn't pay anything for this mod.

Keep that attitude! Don't let a lot of carebears ruin the game for you. Although the game has his bugs, glitches and you encounter a script kiddie or two, try to get the best of it. As soon as the next update is out let's hope that it will be even funnier than nowadays.

I only hide them if they have hacked weapons. If not, grab what i strictly need and carry on.

Yes. I figured that out, it's ok tho. Does satchel charges are hacked in?[nvm, we assumed it were legit] I am doing the same thing, yesterday's morning a friend of mine killed Kittens and he had a L115A3... body hided :D

For me, just fix the glitches and tent/vehicle saving issue and add dogs. I'll be more than happy to keep playing it. :D
