i snipe from there pretty often on 25-30 person servers without issue. lol. i only find with 30+ people that i run into people coming at me

tho this was a while ago i used the hill lots. Best time was me and my freinds sniping some dude out, then the guy respawned and crawled up to us and started talking over direct chat and my freind shit his pants because we were both scoped in. lulz

tho the last while ive been letting fresh spawns go. Somewhat lost the fun in killing people who just started their journey, more amusing to kill established players lol

I love doing this, easily the best way to get gear down on the coast and it makes you feel awesome helping out survivors who are trying to loot the town for food without getting shot. Found myself a Coyote backpack full of morphine and meat along with the usual survival gear and a m107 and Bizon on one sniper there.

The downside is when other people are doing this too, i was taken out by a group of 5 guys fully armed with a chopper circling above sweeping the trees for snipers the other day.

That's convenient. I was on the hill and I shot down a chopper.

Today i did this and got like + 10 murders

I got a Lee and the best ghillie ingame ;)

And just waited for some thime...

But the funny thing is that the most people i killed were infact people with axes trying to kill snipers.

So technically I camped and tried to kill snipers but killed other people tryin to camp and kill snipers.

Kinda inception you know ;)

Sometimes i put my gear in my tent,manage to get killed somehow and try to repsawn to stary ... wait for some sniper to die loot him then piss off , but tents seem to be bugged with last patch soo.. :D

I often sit and watch life through the scope of my M24. Seldom will I actually take a shot unless there is something to gain from it, but I do enjoy watching players go about their business. The fire fights that break out at the apartments in the northern part of cherno are pretty funny.

Saw one player hounded by two others, he skirted into an apartment, and opened fire as they approached the doorway... After about two minutes of camping outside of the apartment, the two players decide to start throwing smoke grenades into it, managing to aggro every zed in the surrounding area to that one point. As the zeds enter the building in orderly fashion, gunfire can be heard from within - the two sitting outside - no doubt laughing their asses off.

The guy indoors climbed to the roof and started popping zeds as they came up... When 2 popped up at the same time, he got up, ran to the edge and continued to run off... firing his gun frantically at his pursuers, rendering one of them unconcious before hitting the deck and dying at the doorway. The only guy left standing runs toward the hospital (presumably to get medical supplies for his buddy) - I fired a shot that ripped through his legs - watched him crawl around as the zeds were now exiting the building - some feasting on the guys outside... He frantically crawls into the hospital.

Not sure what the outcome was, but was sure funny to play god for a while.

Now it comes to my mind how my first murder in dayz didnt counted.

I was sniping at the electro hill when I saw someone getting up to the small roof of the officebuilding.

I got a cz 550 and wasnt that good with it. So I aimed hit him into the chest when he turned around and went backwards, He fell from the roof.

I've made a pretty decent system of finding people with the l85, getting their general area, and then picking them off with my as50. :)

Oh, because it sounded like you were killing them with the thermal weapon. Also the war is ours, I've gotten a 400m kill with the l85 on wasteland. Killed him with the second shot and he was running too.

I didnt manage to kill those 2, as I flanked round looking for a gun I hear gunshots, lots of them, someone beat me to it, as, I looted the ginger guys body before the ghillie guy, got everything of mine back, moved across to the ghillies body and Booooom, Sniped again. Guess it was the guy who had just killed those 2. The ginger guy is laid behind a tree further down, as I stepped out to charge him with my axe, you may not be able to see it in the video but he was looking right at me, I did a Usain Bolt.
