Rienspy 3 Posted August 8, 2012 Nope, you have to buy Arma II and Operation Arrowhead (=expansion for Arma II) to play DayZ.I also heard of a way to play DayZ with only Operation Arrowhead and Arma II free, but that's less legitimate and you still have to pay...I guess you'll be better of buying Arma II Combined Operations (Thats Arma II and Arma II OA in a promotion package), or you can wait for the standalone game to be released. Tweakie 199 Posted August 8, 2012 it costs 25€ (½ the price of a new game) in that price you get 2 games + tons of mods (dayz included).You can save 10€ by buying only Arrowhead and using it with arma 2 free (the demo) but you will have horrible textures.P.S. xPandaHunterx 59 Posted August 8, 2012 Well, you can torrent it, but you can't go online, can't play with friends, updates are a bitch, the whole interface is buggy as hell, and 9 times out of 10, the game doesn't save your equipment.
