How many of you would stop killing players if there were achievements?

This mod is great because it's lack of computer game based goals. It's great because if there were to be a world like this there would be the gangs of bad people hording gear and killing anyone for their stuff, there would be the lone players, the helpers and of course the cry babies who wine about how life isn't fair, why do people kill other people.

I'm not a bandit, but I understand why there are those who are, and without bandits it wouldn't be the same. Want achievements, go play COD.

I'm a console player that started playing last week. I HATE achievements or any other shit popping up on my screen while unnecessary music plays.

I also only kill players who pose a threat or players that I know have recently killed other players. Or if they happen to startle me, Sprint around a corner at me and I'm going to fill you full of lead. lol.

yeah so true. I remember playing armageddon (dos exe) for first time. dayz gave me that feeling, it reminded me so much. maybe a feeling belong to when I was a kid but dayz certainly delivered that. some of those console player maybe missed that, never had a chance to experience and they are experiencing it now. which is totally insane. dayz delivers so much

If achievements were to be implemented then they would have to tender to both kinds, the bandits and the survivors. It wouldn't really be fair to give survivors something to aim for and the bandits not. Banditry is part of the game, I wish that people would stop crying about it.

Achievements would be great. I'm at the end game content now and its pretty thin. Killing other players seems the logical thing to do.
