Add Radios to dayz?

Do you think implementing something like shortwave radios would be something good for days?

For example, you could find a "pair" of short wave radios. And then if you give one to somebody else, you can use them to talk over the game.

the R key could be pressed to talk to anyone on the radio. And you can adjust frequencies to keep it secret or you could listen in on others if you catch them,

I know Skype and teamspeak are popular. And probably more efficient, but do you think this could still be a good idea?

There is a radio tool in Arma2, would be cool if you could find it in DayZ, and once you did, that would give you access to the Global channel. Would work like your idea, except anyone with a radio would see/hear what was being said. just like in real life, to intercept a shortwave radio, you just have to match its frequency.

Not only has it been suggested, something like this already exists in the form of an arma mod called ACRE. It's actually pretty badass and hooks into teamspeak.
