In a mistake I gave away my CD Key

Well, I was looking for a group, and in a Twitch Channel, I got a group offer. Then I got his skype and we were talking and he told me "Hey I ruined my Setting can I see your Settings?" and I sayed Okay. I shared screen and he directed me to my Arma OA Key. I didnt know it was my key it was like: 45 f4 sa 45 45 etc....

Then He hanged up on skype and called me on chat really bad things. IN a moment I tried to get into DayZ and well, It sayed "CD Key in Use" I knew what was going on.

30 Minutes later I try and I was able to join but I was on the shore, and I had lost everything. I dont know if it is posible to do something so he does not get into my character again or what? Do I have to buy another CD Key?

I also dont want to get banned from DayZ. Its not me he is going to test hacks on my CD Key. I would apreciate any help and if you can tell me how the Cd Keys work and is my Steam account safe and everything I woudl realle apreciate

There's not much you can do except buy a new CD Key now.

Send a message to Bohemia's support about this, they may be able to give you a different key or... something?

And if you have that guy's name in your chat (Skype names can't be deleted), you may be able to pursue some kind of action against him through Skype.

Your CD-Key isnt tied to your steam account so you should be ok on that front. For that he would need your acount name and password. Be more careful in future and never trust a stranger with things like this.

Maybe get in contact with arma 2 dev's and ask them to terminate your cd key one and give a new one

Well at least you learnt not to trust anyone on the internet. Just be thankful you didn't do something like give out credit card details
