Servers with no PVP, for those to kill just Z's

Recommended Posts

Eh, it sorta nerfs some of the fun of the game. however at the same time there are people who would have just as much fun, after all zeds can be lethal. And maybe loot could be less frequent in non pvp servers

We don't need "rules", just an effective way to log and deal with hackers and griefers.

This would be solved if griefers could not kill unarmed players.

Once again, unarmed means no hatchets or weapons of any kind on your body. This way the attacker couldn't be harmed either for the attempt.

The game could be programmed to just not have the unarmed guy die. Easy squeezy...

What kind of coward kills someone who can't fight back?

Twenty seconds later that person that was unarmed could have picked up a Lee Einfeild and put a bullet in my head from 200 meters, they must die.

Hello, islandjack1, and welcome to the DayZ mod and DayZ forums.

As other posters have stated earlier, the game mod wasn't necessarily designed to just be PvP or PvE. Having your character die numerous times is part of the learning curve - as time goes on, you will very likely find the game experience you're looking for: just wiping out zombies, but you will have to get through this very tough learning period first.

One way to increase your chances of survival is banding together with other players that have the same agenda that you do. Interaction with other players, good or bad, is part of the core experience of DayZ.

Good luck and maybe I'll see you out on the field!
