DMR, or M24?

Ran into both. Just wondering which one I should choose, and seeing how they take the same ammo, it's up to you guys to decide for me.

DMR.

You can use it at night with NVG's.

Plus, it's Semi Automatic rather than Bolt Action.

I personally prefer the M24 because it's easier to zero in and make the kill on a target. Essentially, you have to do less calculations, which means less time spent staring and more time spent shooting.

I would say that the DMR is better because of the greater mags. IDK why but i like the m24 more.

DMR is better if you know how to range it on the fly. The M24 lets you zero in the scope, but that's about it. I would take the DMR just because the mag capacity is 20 compared to 5 and it's semiauto.

DMR because it looks fricking sexy, it has 4 times the mag-size, it they both do the same damage and are as loud, and the DMR has mil-dots which make it really easy to use.

Edit; Although because they are pretty identical stat-wise, it all comes down to personal preference. Some are just somehow more accurate with the M24.

For all of the ammo talk, DMR is a twenty round clip which converts into 4 M24 clips, so I guess reloading then becomes a factor. I guess this leaves only one option... Taking them both. >:D

Both are very high end snipers. Love them both.. M24 more of a quick dead on zeroing shot. Down side only 5 rounds per mag compared to the DMR with 20. DMR can be used in close quarter and sniper unlike the M24 though.

there is no difference in damage (1 or 2 shot kill for both of them)

Everything else is personal preferences such as vision or sound of the weapon

NVG's. Don't forget that DMR is the only sniper rifle that can be used alongside NVG's.

Keep in mind you can combine one DMR magazine into four M24 magazines.

I would personally go with the DMR, simply because I find it more fun to use.

I don't have enough experience with either weapon in-game but if BI was as serious about ballistics as they said then the M24 should have a bit better range than the DMR. The DMR is gas-operated and doesn't produce as high of a muzzle velocity as a M24 would.
