Post Hoc 30 Posted July 31, 2012 I picked up an m16, but i consider it almost useless since i can never find ammo for it. ive probably only come across 3 clips in my entire playing career. is there certain place(s) to find this ammo. i mostly see AK ammo, or makarov which is really annoying. once on i looting run, 90% of the ammo i found was makarov. ajbader@umich.edu 7 Posted July 31, 2012 Hit up deer stands and other military buildings (hangars, control towers, fire stations, tents) and I am sure you will find STANAG rounds. They aren't that rare.But if you don't have the ammo, then why carry a gun that has no ammo? Switch it out for an enfield or someting. Helicopter crashes and barracks can have ammunition boxes that have ~30 magazines in them.Deerstands are probably your easiest target. Its so bad i cant see anything. what is that?It is a graphical bug, most commonly from barbed wire. It is mentioned lots in the forum and it is in the patch notes as "fixed" in the next build.
