I guess you meant to ask how i would know that.

Because there are plenty of examples that illustrate my statement.

A) Goldsource engine, cs 1.6, VAC protected. It's piss easy to hack in cs 1.6, yet VAC does a great job at keeping servers clean.

B) cod4, punkbuster. Modern engine, hard to hack, shitty anticheat, countless hackers everywhere.

These 2 games are the shining example of what i said earlier.

On top of that, VAC is extremely userfriendly, other anticheats like battleye and punkbuster are a pain on the ass.

You want it to be closed. I get that. But I don't believe that is going to happen. Even with the hackers(have not seen any as of yet after 2 weeks playing the game) and the bugs, I still learned to enjoy the mod.

I think that even if the mod were to be closed to a select group, it'd simply start a wild shitstorm of people demanding it be opened once more.
