I don't feel that way. Arma is DayZ, and nothing else. If I bought arma for arma I would seriously want a refund and turn my CD key back in.

I feel for you, I really do.

Arma 2 is an amazing game. I find that I can't wait to play Operation Arrowhead Co-oP Campaign with my friends. I'm also actually kind of saddened at the lack of base OA servers that exist (there are about 2). Base Arma 2 had a spectacular multiplayer and the mission editor was expansive. When Arma 3 comes out i'll be buying it just as much for DayZ as the regular multiplayer.

You knew the mod was in alpha when you bought the game. Also, a lot of people like early alpha releases despite them being buggy instead of waiting for the released version. Also, you had a couple of bugs happen to you? Oh boy... It's not like anyone else has that happening to them, right?

For example, everyone on the server exploded because a Russian hacker (Yea, I bolded that because Rocket likes praising his Ruskis, despite that 90% of the cheater population are Russian in this game, like in most games btw). I would like the option to restrict Russian ISP's from joining my server please. I've got plenty of Russian friends on my Steam FL, my clan, etc. they don't even deny it.

Wow... That last part was quite off-topic. Damn, the complaining is contagious.

ARMA 2 is an awesome game by itself. ARMA2OA is also an awesome game. DayZ for free on top of all of that just makes things get even more awesome. I bought ARMA2/OA for a lot more than $30. My only regret is that vanilla ARMA2/OA servers never had a really good player base in my country (Australia) so it was hard to get a good game a lot of the time.

It's the best $30 I spent in years (although I bought the game a year ago). I've gotten about 100 hours out of the game so far which is great compared to a ton of other games that cost around the same and only offer around 20 hours of gameplay, even if you strive to do absolutely everything you can possibly do within the game's mechanics.

On this game...Total joke regret everything...i feel cheated.

You didn't buy this game for €30.

You bought ARMA2 & ARMA2 OA for 30 bucks.

Then you downloaded a >free< mod that's currently in ALPHA.

Alpha stages of mods/games are barely ever released to the public & are defo not made to support almost 1million players.

If your fragile state of mind can't deal with the shit the alphastage of a game has, uninstall the mod & download it again when it's finished. Nobody is putting a gun to your head & telling you to play a bugged, far from finished state of a free modification.
