How long does it take for a server to be up? I just bought one, no rush or anything, although an ETA would be nice.

Quick and dirty 6 month review of hfb

Very cheap, this might be just me as I was grandfathered in with there old $20 server. I am only paying $20 for a 50 slot server currently :)

Helpful support with average response times [not the greatest but nearly close to bad] assuming you dont get impatient and reply to your own ticket, I have done this before only to find that it made the ticket appear new woops lol

Great performance, it is worth mentioning that my server did lag for a couple hours one time. I submitted a ticket and it was sorted in about 7 hours total

Server is full of features, I have seen people moving to people like dayz.st for "more features" not really sure why as everything you could want hfb has...

Will I be hosting with hfb when standalone comes out? your damn right I will as well they are the oldest host now apperently and they have been great to me. Plus I have a feeling they have already been in contact with the devs for servers for standalone as you cant ignore the oldest host XD

But yea quick and dirty review. If you had different experience then I have im sorry, I have had no noteble issues

What do i need to have on to be able to run Chernarus rMod?

I cant get the server to work at all.

I've tried to run it without rMod and different maps but it just doesnt work since i cant see which patch is installed or not and it takes forever to get answers on tickets.

If this is not resolved soon i want my money back since my time is still running and the server is not working, atleast not TCAdmin.

Executable files such as .exe, .bat, .cmd, etc. are blocked from uploading due to security reasons.

We now have a whitelisting system on Package and Package Plus for those who want to whitelist your servers.

Salt Lake City now available as a location, Montreal, Quebec now available as a location. And DayZ 2017 has been added to Package servers. Once Bliss releases official support for it we will add it to Package Plus servers and allow all the extra Package features to work correctly on it.

I have a quick question. We are wanting to change the time zone on the server. I have everything set up to change but we are afraid that when we reload the map we will lose everything we have gathered so far. So my question is when you reload the map pack do you lose your tents, vehicles, etc?

Nope, you lose nothing as that is all stored in the database, If you are on Package simply install what ever map you want it will all be saved, If you are on Package Plus make sure to change your world_id in the instance table to the new map then install the map you want that will insure all your data from the previous map remains untouched :)

On Package Plus servers we do allow rmod, All you have to do is install it from the mods menu

By default we do not have any such tool, How ever the means of using publicly available tools are completely supported on Package Plus as you have ftp access to everything you would need to edit for the server pbo's and mission files, And you can link up a map tool to your database as we send you the database details in your welcome email
