sudZ! 115 Posted July 29, 2012 There is some audio enhancing software that improves your onboard chip's performance. I've never looked into it before, but you might consider it before spending your cash. As for soundcards... I have no idea and can't help ya. Good luck! Michaelvoodoo25 3120 Posted July 29, 2012 (edited) headset is ax 180, brand new bargain at £20 local CEX shop! Edited July 29, 2012 by Michaelvoodoo25
Lord Fartus 61 Posted July 29, 2012 This is a mod and an extremely buggy one at that. Then factoring in the engine used to create the mod.....I'd suggest just putting up with the sound quality as of now and waiting for things to develop.
FrankFisher 46 Posted July 29, 2012 On board sound cards FTW! Go with something that has Surround sound.
Bravo-Two-Zero 57 Posted July 29, 2012 Don't bother buying a sound card unless you've spent a fortune on a decent headphone and can tell the difference between analogue connectors with different sensitivities (which most people can't). If you have a modern enough motherboard (<3 years) the on-board sound controller is good enough for any digital sound and differs barely from any sound card you would be able to buy. enforcer1975 1111 Posted July 29, 2012 (edited) ArmA doesn't need a fancy sound card like BF3 to give you the best sound experience. You could get away with an onboard sound card just fine...Just don't buy the cheapest of headsets or speakers. Edited July 29, 2012 by Enforcer
