Very nice. But any idea why the majority of the servers in the list show as 9999 ping for me?

Normally the pings should apear within 30-60 seconds after startup.

If they don't appear then, or only for some, then your system/network apology seems to be problematic to retrieve gamespy information, could be firewall/router/modem related.

This will also be much improved in the imminent to be released SIX Launcher v2 ;-)

Since the (two) Six Updates just now I cant log into any server.

I keep getting stuck at the "Wait for Host" screen.

Is it even possible, that this is related to six? Was there another Patch too?

And yes, I also dont see any Pings.

Wait for host iirc is dayz/server issue, or perhaps incompatible game version, did you check the server ran the same version?

Pings should appear within 30-60 sec, improved in SLv2.

If they don't appear at all, double check you didn't enable the option "Rely only on Server list provided by SU Portal".

Otherwise it might indicate issues with the internet connection, router/modem, etc.

A ticket with the log files could help find what's up; http://www.six-updater.net/p/support.html

Okies the update worked fine on the whole can join servers with patch 49*** and above so that's all good but now every time I launch six and need to reinstall the updates?

Sorry, that's probably me fixing and improving issues as they come in. Should be done now ;)

Nice response time and thanks for all the work you're putting in,

One question maybe that you could answer....is it technically possible to establish the time of a current server, I.E day/night? Would be nice to have a icon or some sort that gives an indication, I know most servers add GMT + 2 etc etc but it doesn't always seem to be accurate and I sometimes too struggle to find a night server as I've managed to acquire two pairs of NVG's and I ain't coming out the dark till I have a tent and camp set up!! :D

NP ;-) Sure, we're working hard on SIX Launcher v2, Beta to be released hopefully coming days.

We're looking into the Server times yes, as they are in the server name, but accuracy depends on the server admins, no technical way to deal with it currently.

Alright....I got the Arma2cfg and ArmaOAcfg files and I still get the no entry "profilepathdefault" on the six launcher.....

uninstalled Six Updater and Launcher and downloading 2.9.7 Pre 8, see if it changes anything. I launch the OA Beta and it gives me the newest 1.61 and expansion pack and @DayZ but if I try to go through multiplayer, it doesnt allow me to play the game because the DayZ files are from trying to install it like 3 weeks ago...

I have the game working on my desktop, but i need to get it to work on my laptop....wish me luck

Edit: I reinstalled the updated/launcher to 2.9.7 Re 8 or somthing and it has been running just fine for me! Thanks for the help

Why does it takes always 15+minutes to make a minor verify\update?

Sometimes it just freezes for minutes, even during veryfign and then on downloading (that is slow like hell too).

Yes it seems to be a server issue with the connection, I can connect on some now ...

Still the problem with the ping, after a while pings get shown, but only on very few servers.

Is this also a server side problem?

I can login some servers that get a shown ping of 9999, and in game everything seems fine.

Great tools! There's only 1 thing that need fixing, the Ping number list. The list shows 9999 ping for all servers and won't update. Hope to have the fix soon. :)

Yeah, please try another server. Maybe one that is actually up to date. Try UK 7. That one works for me all the time.

That's intresting because for me the update takes around 1 minute. Do you have any logs for us? Anything we can use to possibly trace it back?

What about "verifying beta 0%" taking ages?

I tried also all the combination of:

* Only rely on server list provided by the SU portal - Disabled

No changes at all (I have no problem refreshing servers btw, just veryfing and updating). I have Arma 2 Combined on Steam.

Outside of this program what else is needed to get the game going with Steam, most of the guides that have some troubleshooting tips still don't let the mod work properly.

I get the CA_dubbing_counterattack and citizen.scope.1 errors. after doing a fresh install of the mod using Six Updater Suite.

my six launcher doesn't work it says i have version 1.7.2 but in the game menu it says i have version 1.6.2?

i have tryed using this thing and still never works. i haven't been able to actualy play this game in a few days cause i get soo frustrated with trying to connect to servers and failing soo much i just leave and play something else.

i have installed Six launcher and let it do it's updates. says i'm running 1.7.2.3

every server i try to connect to says that i am running incorrect version, or cannot connect to server.

i have looked at the version section (last tab) and only version that works is 1.62.95170. however it doesn't always work, and everytime i reconnect i am starting from nothing.

Downloaded the 1.7.2.3 torrent from the website here and manualy installed it, and still gives me problems about connecting.

The six launcher needs to hide all versions that do not match your version (or at least give an option for it) then perhaps it would be easier to connect to servers.

also servers need to be better labled. many don't say the timezone they are running which makes it harder to know what you are headed into.

i am kinda picky with servers right now as i am still new and trying to learn the game. i prefer daylight, and low pop servers.
