Pretty good sniping tips. I already knew most of them...but one or two I didnt know. Easily adds a few kills to your killcount though. Great write up and a lot of good videos. Just wanting to point this out very badly...first rule, wait for a perfect shot. You said it was an example of waiting so you didnt screw anything up....you only "waited" because you misclicked and accidently switched weapons ;)But it was still a good shot and a great couple kills. Kudos to the kids for not logging the second you painted the walls with his buddies brains.

Ran with Play withSIX, download was quick and set up was easy and intuitive. Took a few minutes to initially load all of the mods and servers for DayZ but it plays very well. Had a few problems, but I think they were game based. THANK YOU SO MUCH SICK!!!

Whenever someone says development team and rocket in the same phrase, I think of Team Rocket! BLASTING OFF AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT! Deal kid...its all about finding the gear and getting killed. Once you find a lot of gear and stock pile it, you break the system and the game corrects you.

uhhh...YEAH.... Alright Sick...been working fantastic for me. Stopped playing for a few days. Says I need to update to 1.60.0.87580). I have downloaded and extracted 1.60 and 1.62 and extracted the files to my OA folder.I hit update and it used to get stuck at Verifying pack @ Dayz 18% and now it gets to 12% before freezing. Eventually I get a Unhandled exception during update. The request could not be performed because of an I/O devive error. Tried syncing with updater....any suggestions? I would really like to get back into this game and pwn some nwbs :) Thanks sickboy EDIT: Well I got the 1.60 and 1.62 updates and the newest OA beta patch all set up and im getting to 18% verifying before freezing again....6% closer than before lol

Well...yup. Bought the game just for Day Z like everyone else. First time I played, I snucked around and got some decent gears. Decided it was time to F up the world and I tried to kill a player, I died. Broke my leg one and aggroed zombies. Player watched as i killed zeds and was calling out where they were coming from. The next player I tried to kill...well i got him. Dropped a makarov at the firestation, picked it up and shot him while he was prone on the roof. Got some decent gear(just makarov and enfield). Died leaving firestation. Didnt even get to loot the body. Third player I tried killing...well....he ran by the apartment i was going through. I decided to wait a while since some zeds were following him. I came around and some him silloutted on a ridge with a tree in the way. I sneakied over to him and EFFFFFFFFF he was looking and like waiting for me. GAY. Didnt shoot until he shot. His second shot plastered me right in the face. Best load out I ever had, now belonged to him. Well fourth time the opportunity presented itself, I was in the office building. Just got an enfield and 1911. I was getting some supplies and ready to try to get to the firestation. I keep hearing staccato of fire every now and then. The chat was dead and no one was claiming anything. Finally I see him bolt straight past me running for the grocery. Thats where I wanted to go. Well...had my 1911 out and decided to shoot a few of the zeds. Yeah, I shot 4 zeds chasing him from the office. I sneakied over thinking, I hope he knows I was shooting z's and not him. I kept thinking man he is going to kill me...had mp5SD or similar. So I had a little hope that he was just trying to survive and wasnt out to get me. Got into the mart and there were a few zeds left. I got into a corner and dropped 3 more that were now converging on my position. I looked aroun for him.. he was gone. I tried going out back like he must have, but it was tank trapped and barbed. Must have gotten scared and DC'ed. That supressed ammo is hard to find and he may have been out and heard me shooting. But later on when I tried running ot the firestation, I had a LOT on me, at least 12. By the time I got there I was trying to grab some ammo from one of the piles on the ground floor. Nothing. I ran up and kept expecting a few more. I didnt have a single one follow me into the station. I heard some gun fire while I was trying to loot out the station. So maybe mp5 man came back to help me out a little(even though I didnt really need it). I was glad he had shot a few and there was a few dead ones in the street that werent there previously. So whoever was playing at 10:20 central running around in Elecktro with the MP5 SD, just wanna give you my thanks and to let you know, I wasnt shooting at you :) So i guess thats my story of a...well...wasnt really a very good bandit(at least not yet, I keep hoping to find a CZ550 somewhere and always pick up the ammo for it just in case). I play better as a survivor..so this is my story of being a terrible player to a contributing member of the Daisy Apocalypse.

Your going to die before the game gets updated more. And yes the game gets updated quite, quite frequently. I found one and thought it was super cool and awesome...but i just left it there. Solo play it isnt very helpful and just sucks....I would just avoid them for now.

I had the same problem...eventually if you wait around long enough the zombies will wander a good distance from the spawn and you can sneak in and find maybe a gun or a axe. If you find an ax, right click on it in the toolbelt and select "remove from toolbelt". Reload and now you have a one hit zombie killer. Inside you should be able to hit and kill before they can hit you. And as much as people say stay away from Cherno and Elektro...last 3 times ive played, I just said "eff it" and went into cherno and got fully geared in like 20 minutes with ALICE pack, 1911 and 8 mags, 50 rounds for my enfield, and a crossbow with 5 bolts and the essentials. Well I died a few minutes later due to being stupid. STarted again by Elektro...so far im partially geared up. Way more than any of the smaller cities. Just experiment with it all.
