Pathologic: a game Rocket (and anyone who cares about DayZ) MUST play

Recommended Posts

Pathologic is a special thing, I can't explain it too well, but this young chap can

http://www.rockpaper...art-1-the-body/

hopefully the parallels between Pathologic and DayZ are self evident; I don't have time, right now, to go into what we might learn, but y'all might get something out of it and get this thread unravelling

[want to see what that kind design means to the player? see if there's any fun to be had? it's available on gamers gate

http://www.gamersgat...ll&q=pathologic

want an articulate person to tease it all out for you?

part two of the article

and part three

http://www.rockpaper...ing-pathologic/]

Seems like an interesting game, though I think this will get boring after a few days of playing.. Never heard of it either actually.

Trying to purchase it now, but can't remember my GG password and the email refuses to come through.

Goddamn ISP with it's goddamned greylisting causing issues with email.

I think you mistook what they meant by suggestions section.

To be clear about my suggestion: those who make suggestions for DayZ would benefit from playing a game that explores many of the suggestions we see in this forum, as well as containing more developed variants of mechanics that Rocket has already implemented

Looks cool. I'm going to try it out. Another GREAT game is Metro2033. I think it was developed by a Russian company as well. I actually wanted to read the novels it's based on but can't find them in english.

Eh, so me playing this game isn't going to happen tonight, as I'd hoped. Gamersgate password reset isn't working and I can't remember my password.

I hate Gamersgate. They're constantly having such issues. :<

Okay, bought it on Gamefly. Now here's to hoping it's good. Got the night free so I'll probably end up playing it until the wee hours of the morning.

The game sounds really cool but there's not an awful lot that's applicable to Day Z.
