What for? Zombies = Winchester, Lee Enfield = Players.

I love the winchester, I took out a fully loaded player from 2-300m away

The quantity of Lee Enfields in Chernarus makes me wonder if the CDF recently fought a war against an army of British WW1 vets. But I have almost no luck finding Winchesters. Last time I found one must have been at least 4-5 patches ago.

I had the pleasure of taking a winchester slug to the chest at 25m the other day. Did about 7k blood damage and to be fair knocked me out.

I had a Lee Enfield.

He didn't get back up.

I loathe the winchester. It is one of the three guns I will not use if I have even a hatchet.

1. Double Barrel Shotgun.

2. Makarov.

3. Winchester.

Between the poor damage, bad rate of fire, or poor accuracy, these guns are next to useless for me. Atleast with a hatchet, I can act a fool or pretend to be a ninja.

It would depend on your playstyle.. if you intend to steer clear of players and only get into fights with zombies then the Winchester would be more reliable. It's quiet, it one-shots 'em and the ammo is common. If you intend to do a bit of both and want to defend yourself against players or hunt them, the Lee Enfield is your best bet. It's a powerful weapon, common ammo and one good shot and they're gone.. whereras the Winchester will be a struggle in a fight in my opinion.

Oh this is difficult :(

Winchester has a bit more variety to it, I took out 3 players grouped together with it once but the ammo is rare and enfield just so good at killing players

Lee Enfield without a doubt.

Yes it is loud, but it is very useful for killing zombies and also for PVP moments.

Winchester, only if the ammo was just as easy to find as the Lee, or close to it.

Lee Enfield. Kills players with just one shot, and it can be pretty accurate in long distances!

I don't really mind the noise, i don't kill zombies with it, just players. After you killed the poor guy, just move to a different location and you're all set.

I have M107s, AS50s, M4s, M16s, M14s, and even a few suppressed weapons, but the enfield is still one of my favorite guns.

Easy to use, accurate, and powerful. What the hell else do you want?

Lee Enfield. One shot, one kill, 99% of the time. Things get sloppy with the Winchester .

I put 5 rounds into a guy from inches away with a winchester before he went down, meanwhile i'm killing noobs on sight in cherno with one round from an enfield at 500m.

Winchester all the way. 15 round ammo slots and fairly common ammo means you're doing well with even 2-3 slots of ammo. With the raging hardon everyone has for the Lee I've found ammo is harder to find because it's already been hoovered up by the last player that passed through.

Accuracy is actually pretty awesome, I've nailed zombies and players at 400m; it just has significant bullet drop at that range, but will fly straight and true otherwise.

It's one of the quietest primary weapons in the game, ROF is middling, but decent compared to the glacial Enfield, which makes up for it's somewhat middling damage. Most players get knocked out and severely wounded on the first shot, which easily allows me a follow-up shot or a pistol execution.

This is easy, Enfield all the way.

My pistol is for zombies (less noise, short range).

Enfield is for players, kicks like a mule even at extreme distances, and accurate as a sniper rifle.

You know, the noise of the enfield is actually a good thing. If you fire it at close enough range, everyone in the immediate area will shit themselves. It's kinda like firing an M107 near someone, although the M107 will cause people to shit bricks.

Consider the Enfield Arma's substitute for the Mosin Nagant. I'm sure there are quite a few of those around in Eastern Europe.

which ever comes first, and if i don't have another gun. i hate both, as the winchester requires ammo that doesn't stack, and the lee enfield is like ringing a dinner bell for the zombies, so it is unusable. if i have any other primary, i will pass up on the opportunity for a lee enfield.

Lee. Nothing beats it when you just need some guy dead. For zombies, there's the sidearm.
