Found NPCs with G36C SD

I spawned near the south west airstrip and it was blown to bits. I went south to the medical camp and found multiple NPCs prone with G36C SDs, I killed them and picked the gun up.

Recently I read that it is a hacked weapon in a topic a few months ago.

I'm just curious if it still is hacked, or if these NPCs are now spawning randomly.

Will I get banned because I picked it up?

They do not spawn, those were indeed hacked. Best bet is to drop the weapon.

npcs and gun are hacked in, but you wont get banned for picking the g36 up

I'm not sure. You won't get banned for picking/using anything regardless though, only if you are the one cheating/spawning these items.

They had no backpacks and I ran straight towards them and killed them with an axe.

When I shot them it also showed in blue chat something like "01-00-Friendly Fire"

Or they could be terrible hackers to be taken out by a guy with an axe.

Also found a few dead NPCs inside a warehouse in Balota in US 244, and they couldn't be interacted with. Now I see why they were there in the first place.
