Hackers Destroying DayZ

So i was just playing DayZ me and my friend found a camp, pretty nice loot. then we all get teleported to one spot hackers mowing everyone down with MK48. Luckly i aborted(i never endorse aborting but in this case). But the hackers are everywhere, i cant go onto a server with more than 20 people without seeing hackers or them killing me. Killing guys and finding hacked weapons multiple ghillie suits...this is ruining my expirence. I would never pay money for this kind of product.

We get it. There's exploiters in DayZ. Every time you see an exploiter, you don't need to go tell us on the forums, because we are fully aware of it.

just played on a night server and I had been running for an hour to reach my destination. once i did then i get shot by someone, like he had been waiting for me all the time... so i start throwing flares all over the place, and then i see as the flares shine up the ground, that there are bear traps all over the place, i mean there must have been atleast 30 of them... anyways i got the name of the guy, as there was only me and him on the server... lol

While I do agree the hackers that you describe do suck, I saw a hacker that was just screwing with people. (not killing them) These actually add to the enjoyment! I actually wish that the Devs would hop servers and screw with people to blow off steam! Imagine the chaos to erupt if all of a sudden a formation of jets flew around the coast, or a battleship arrived in port!? Or you log in and you are wearing zombie skin, and the zombies are wearing player skins. I would love to be stalked by monsters unseen at night. Things of this nature add enjoyment and suspense to the game. Anyway I have faith it'll be worked out sooner or later. But yeah the typical hacker blows monkey balls.

You obviously cannot report the player if you don't know his name. This is correct. What you can do, however, is make a report in the cheat/server section listing the server name in the title of the thread and then describe the incident, confirm the server name, and the time it happened(Date too if it's not the same day anymore).

This happened to me today, but it ended up working out in my favor. So...I'm just starting out in this game and I've been having a hard time finding food and good guns. I was sneaking around a building in prone and then suddenly I was transported to a spot in the woods with 7 or 8 other people plus two guys who just started shooting everyone. Since I was already in prone position I just remained very still, and I think the hackers thought I was already dead. After they ran off I looted the 6 or 7 bodies left over and got a nice pack, a couple good guns, binocs, watch, compass, lots of ammo and tons of food, water, and health supplies. I was set. Thanks hackers.
