Lee Einfield or AS50?

Recommended Posts

So I just recently accidentally clicked "respawn" instead of abort, killing my character. He had a Bizon, NV goggles and an AS50.

I'm wondering whether or not I should run AAAALLLL the way north, or just go and do some basic loot runs and kill bandits?

[P.S. At camp we have a shittonne of high-value weapons and equipment, but no AS50.]

What do you think I should do?

EDIT: I've decided to abandon my AS50 and go and find a Lee Enfield to fuck around with people. YEAAAH

EDIT: I just found an Enfield with 10 magazines, so IT'S ALL GOOD

LAST EDIT: My group found my body and are moving my shit into a vehicle, so it's fine. Thanks for the opinions

Chances are that your body despawned already.

In 5 minutes?

Like he said, your body is gone by now.

Well how long does it take for the body to despawn?

I've run back to my body in the past to find it still there over an hour later.

I believe it is 15 minutes but for some reason some last longer/shorter.

I could be wrong, its worth a shot to try and get your stuff back.

Maybe, but I feel like just accepting my loss. I'll find another AS50 soon.

I'd rather get the raygun back than the pea shooter.

Btw, about that, me and my friend were murdered and I returned to the scene of our death (my third death in the game).. I think it took me 40 minute to get there, and our bodies were still there.

Took his M240, then relayed best estimated map coordinates.. move up, then after 2 hours of walking.. found the motherload.

I did the same recently in a pitch black night server.

I had NV, Bizon, L85 and supplies. Luckily I did it near Kamenka and I spawned at the lighthouse near Komarovo so I could collect my loot.

If it's so far north I wouldn't bother. My favourite part of the game is starting anyway, but NV is awesome.

Hmm...I could...or I could wait for a friend to make it up there in three minutes and grab my stuff :D

Yeah, I agree about NV. But my group has 20 pairs of them, anyway :D

Where do you find the NV? I have not been able to find them anywhere.

Downed helicopter crashes or the barracks at the NW airfield.

...No. Were "NVG's" in the title? Obviously I was more interested in the AS50.

To break some ice...Your body will be there if you make a run back to it.

It takes 25-30 mins from Kahmenka to Nwaf, My body was still there after 30 mins. I even had time to stop in zelen to grab food and an alice on the way up.

Only problem is, if you abort again your body will go away unless someone is near it.

A dead body will stay there for hours if people keep close, i believe as long as someone is within a 200m radius for even a split second, it will stay. but with nobody around it, it will stay for an hour at the very least.

make the run, as50 is rare enough.
