This person needs to have their server removed asap, and have his account banned from the hive. I never thought I would see an admin go against what DayZ stands for so easily. Spawning weapons for 2 idiots just for a video bashing DayZ was very childish and traitorous to be honest. This person does not deserve to be apart of the community

An admin cannot spawn in weapons.

I thought their video captured DayZ quite well. I don't think most people considered it to be bashing the game, they obviously had a lot of fun playing it.

what amkes you think they are hackers? is there no pissible way that they had found weapons before they started recording to make things go slightly more smoothly for them? or that the guy with them aquired the items for them beforehand? and if he was just spawning items/hacking (which they most probably were not) then why would simon be running around with a pistol with no ammo and using a hatchet? you only see what you want to see.

Admins do not have server side controls to spawn in weapons. If people would even bother to look at the forums for more than five minutes before going off on some sort of crusade then threads like this would never exist in the first place.

First of all, you all need to quit it. If it was anybody else having a private server all of you would be complaining crazily. You can't give people special treatment.

Private servers are not allowed and they knew that, they still went along. The server owner should just have his server taken down nothing more nothing less, because the owner clearly knew private servers were against the rules. (Banning him is going too far.)

Also, I don't know if they had a hacker give them items, but they did have the admin teleport them to each other, make it a private server, and give them tons of good stuff.

They weren't playing DayZ the way it was meant to be played, they got a 1911, Morphine, and a ton of other good stuff. They had RidgeDog protecting them with silenced weapons even though they had just started DayZ.

I dont think the teleporting and private servers are fair but having someone assist you while you are a beginner is completely fine within the rules/realm of the game. It rarely ever happens, but if someone wants to assist a fresh spawn or a noob, they can.
