Hey,

I've been told that buying Arma 2 on Steam is big ass rip off so I'm wondering what to buy to play Day Z without any kind of trouble.

Is it enough to buy Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead or do I need Arma 2: Combined Operations to play Day Z properly?

Any kind of help is highly appreciated.

Assuming you haven't purchased either the DLC or the game yet, purchasing Arma 2: Combined Operations is the best option.

Hopefully your computer is good enough to handle the game :).

DEFINITELY worth $25. Think of it this way, you're not buying DayZ. You're buying Arma2 which happens to have an amazing mod for it. You can still play Arma 2 and other stuff so it is definitely worth the $25 considering I'd pay that just for the mod.

Definitely. Arma II is lots of fun even without DayZ (and that's coming from some one who bought Arma II solely because of DayZ!)

Your only saving a few bucks going with the free version and OA. You are limited to low quality textures if you do go that route.

Arma 2: CO on steam for $25-30 is A STEAL.
