Harassed by hackers on Dayz Official

Recommended Posts

For some reason i have yet to understand over the last year, a group of hackers from Russia China, and elsewhere have elected to harass me repeatedly. They break into the official use ESP to track me down and aimbot to kill my toon, they have really harassed me bad this week.  I have contacted FBI and other international law enforcement bodies. I fully intend to have them extradited where possible in exchange for others being held here on charges, some are in the USA. Again ive already talked to the FBI about this. Some are in Canada hired by Chinese, and yet others are in Africa.

My point is that Bohemia despite repeated please is unable or unwilling to aggressively admin these servers. I love the game and continue to play, but im getting fed up and wondering why it takes someone like me to get anything done about the hacking problem, and recently all the DDoS attacks and no answer from Bohemia on who might be doing it irritates me and many others. I ask support to give me back my gear and they wont do that and i have to get it all over again. I fully intend to pursue these people and if it takes three years its fine, they have been harassing me for a year, and its criminal. They should leave not me.

I beg and implore Bohemia to ban ALL Russian and Chinese IPS to the server especially while they support attacks on the Ukraine. I also ask them to aggressive admin servers to stop attacks on me and other honest players who just want to enjoy the game. The lack of interest to solve these problems tends to invite lawsuits, which i dont want to do but am considering to force bohemia to put on active admins on official servers, and hire cybersecurity professionals to track down and arrest these nasty and evil hackers.

Unfortunately, Cheats are part and parcel of any online experience.

Whilst there's money to be made by cheat creators via unscrupulous players the problem is insurmountable.

The devs and their Anti Cheat folks do a great job but a cheat, especially in a game like this, has more of a knock on effect than a cheat in say, a short CoD match.

People are the issue and mostly, people are simply awful.

Find a server with active admins for a less problematic experience.

So, over the course of several decades, nefarious black-hat actors from communist regimes have been committing cyber-criminal activities.   These hackers have cost major U.S. corporations billions of dollars and there's not much the government can do.  They've asked them nicely, but it's a constant 'game' of cops and robbers where the bad actors are always a step ahead of the electronic security measures.    I assure you that DayZ paying customers are of the highest priority and I fully endorse contacting your local FBI spokesperson to launch air strikes on the offending teenager in china.

The truth is, the thing about communist hackers and the attack on the United States and the FBI sounds like trolling, If you don't want cheaters you can play on console or create a private server and play in a community with people you know.

Another solution could be to create a closed operating system for PCs with encryption keys backed by the TPM module and create a motherboard with firmware protections, in addition to that limiting the use of peripherals on that system, if I were a large company like Microsoft I would have tried it knowing that multiplayer on PC is a mess and that many people would install it just to avoid that problem and enjoy playing, a dual-boot system, This way the PC could perhaps even have crossplay with console players.

In addition to that, the system could consume much fewer resources even for playing single-player games, but its real function would be to play multiplayer games, I don't see any other way, virtualize, I don't know, it would have been tried already.

It's just like the lazy cops not bothering to even show up and make a report for my stolen garden gnomes, but they go enforce theft laws for the local Walmart ten times a day. Power to the people!
