Awesome work, wasn't expecting a quick patch. So far as a console player its been great! Boats were a little choppy but hopefully this patch fixes it. Cheers

Go back to the old inventory slots and change the spawns back to how they used to be.

You should make it so that the orienteering compass can clip onto bags in the glowstick slot. That way you can combo the compass and GPS without taking too much inventory space.

Also changing the toggle lights to toggle equipment or something along those lines. This would let you turn your Radio or GPS on without having to bring them to your hands

I have to agree with the comments on carrying capacity of clothes and load bearing equipment, backpacks etc.

This update is just bollocks, totally ruined the game for me. I want to set my own difficulty level on a server that I pay for, not have Bohemia dictate how much stuff I can carry. Please for the love of God set it back to how it was. I really don't know if I'm going to carry on with Dayz if the devs keep changing it for the worse and fucking it up every time they update.

Bring back 1.25 'cos 1.26 is just shit.

Are the devs working on a fix to the low res snow textures? They appear square and grid-like, as if the textures havent loaded in. This also seems to affect dirt textures as well. 

This problem occurs at close range within 10 metres. So i assume this isnt the desired end result as this problem doesnt occur on chernarus and livonia.

They are aware of the issue and are trying to resolve the issue. It's an issue with texture blending.

Thanks. Thats good atleast they are trying to sort it. 

Seems to be a problem with rendering, even at close distances.

Please increase the number of keyboard/mouse ps4 first person official servers for Sakhal. There is only 1 server and it is always full. We cannot play as we want

So whats the deal with the constant server issues in all the sakhal servers im playing? 

Is this to do with the amount of fires people are making? If so thats a huge blunder; to design gameplay around making fires and yet the servers cant potentially handle it.

I think theyre still catering to the obsolete old gen consoles. We really need an upgrade on view distance. Im sure current gen could handle it

Issue Report: Barrel Noise and Lid Animation Bug in Vehicles

Description:

Since the recent update, an issue has emerged with barrels transported in trucks. The barrels produce persistent noise even when emptied, and upon removal from the vehicle, the lid's open/close animation loops until the barrel is dropped on the ground.

Troubleshooting Attempts:

I’ve attempted various troubleshooting measures without success. The only temporary workaround identified is to revert to the pre-update barrel code.

Request:

Could you please revert the specific code responsible for barrel behavior, or provide a fix to ensure that barrels in trucks are silent when empty, and that the lid animation behaves as intended upon removal?

Haven't seen anybody talking about this, so has anybody else had problems raiding bases? The gates aren't showing a health status. I attacked the crap out of one lately and no change whatsoever, couldn't see a status difference, nothing. What's going on?

The gates aren't showing a health status. I attacked the crap out of one lately and no change whatsoever, couldn't see a status difference, nothing. What's going on?

Has anyone noticed on console you are no longer able to hold down the trigger after shooting a shot through a scope with a bolt action to stay in the scope view? Really makes using a scoped rifle hard and annoying when you can’t confirm your hit… and by the time you’ve been forced out of your scope to reload, you don’t know wether you’ve dropped the guy or he’s repositioned. It used to work fine so I’d love to see it reverted, because this is a big game changer for me. Or we could add a toggle aim option for console and that would fix the problem too
