The launcher is still broken for community servers with over 40 mods. It reports no mods and users have to use the dzsa launcher to get into those. There was a issue with it saying get dlc too before I bought the frostline dlc. Probably be a good idea to fix this over 40 mod thing before people leave dayz. There's talk in discord a lot of people can't get into their favorite servers, and not everyone even knows about the dzsa launcher. If it is a cash grab, hang that guy upside down and kick his face up around the back of his ass xD

is it known why servers with a significant number of mods show in the vanilla launcher as having "no mods" since the 1.26 update?. Its causing players to fail to load the mods that are actually on the server so they cannot log in

ever since this new update i have been getting a mismatch error. i have uninstalled the game and DZSA 4 times now. i even went as far as to buy the new map and still get same error when trying to get into the servers i play on. and i have been told by the owners that they have updated to the new update but yet i still get the same message. any help please.image.png?ex=671276a0&is=67112520&hm=305

When will the issue with community servers be fixed we carnt play th servers as the dayz launcher says we need the DLC and servers now don't show mod list

Stable is my first exposure to 1.26 and in combination with Shakal, I think the durability of items needs to be re-adjusted again.

Now that the inventory space is limited, the need to hord repair items is more annoying than ever before. I'm sharpening my hatchet at the same rate as I'm chopping trees to make fire. That's insane.

Congratulations on 1.26

We know you have been wanting to kill community servers for quite some time, it must be a great feeling of accomplishment to know that you have almost nailed it with this patch.

Slapping the DLC button in place of the Play button was a genius move, sucker those saps into buying something they dont need! 

Breaking the concrete panels scattered around most 3rd party maps... so if they do get on the maps a mess. I like how efficiently you handled this.  Great choice in item that no one had any issues with prior and you know everyone has on their maps.

Weather system that is entirely incompatible with all the 3rd party maps it seems. Dont want to deal with extreme temps.... tough, buy frostline.

But wait... what if these guys who have more or less carried the game for ten years revert our changes.  Easy, break the nav mesh builder so they cant publish a fix!

Honestly, kudos to you and the team on your very successful assault on the community servers. A couple more minor adjustments and i feel you are definitely on track to fully expel those pesky servers.

So its basically Dayz with more steps now. Ok. So what about floating tents, barrels, disappearing gear when dropped on the ground etc. 10 years in and ya'll still struggle with the basics. I guess it is understandable with the mass exodus of devs who actually cared about this game. This is absurd. I hope this stink doesn't follow over to Arma4, which is what ya'll really care about. Dayz was just financing for Arma 4 development. 10 years in and this is what we have. A weird, cobbled together broken mess. A gimp medical system, no real broken bones, an anti-cheat that is laughable at best. Vehicle sims that up until recently were trash. Ya'll gave our promised vehicle sim to Reforger first, made us wait MONTHS to get the patch, bullets disappearing, desync issues. The poor console kids are screaming their brains out because they aren't used to broken piles of poo, I guess us PC owners are used to it. That's sad.

How long will it take until everything is working properly again? Now the isle is completely destroyed by this, let's call it an update. The game launcher is still broken. If I hadn't installed a fix, my players would still have no access and would be forced to use a different launcher. Why isn't something like this tested extensively beforehand like with other games? This problem has already occurred with Livonia. We should have learned from it. 7 days and still no success. Instead of doing one update after the other, there had to be 2. And now nothing works. Behomia can be happy that modders are doing the work and creating other maps with a new gaming experience. Otherwise DayZ would have long since died on just one map and gamers would have turned to other games. I hope something happens, because server owners like me are just incurring expenses and losing their players because the community servers are down or are just dumping because of errors.

I think this is just brilliant!
You complain that since 1.26 custom maps broke and stopped working? Well, BI reversed the Editor to version 1.25 and now... you have a great possibility to fix your maps yourself! Manually. Step by step.
What? You're saying they should have thought twice before making a change like that? Who cares? I mean, 200 official servers are running fine, right? Well, almost fine... Most of the time...
What, 8300 community servers? Not interested.

John Mclane posted a fix up for structures on maps. Apparently they redid the .p3d files and set some to autocenter.  So instead of placing where they used to go, they calculate to the new position. That was his explanation anyways. His fix works, I had a lot of concrete on custom structures moved too but they're fine now. Exiled servers have somehow fooled the broken launcher to broadcast 80+ mods to its users on the vanilla launcher. Is that the fix you're talking about? If so I want in on that. I have Mclane's fix I can post if you need it.

the modders are waiting for BI so they can fix their maps. too many mistakes have been made. you can't count Chernarus. it's the main map of everything. it has to work first. but there are also problems on the BI maps like Levonia for example... and I don't need to reset the launcher. I fixed the problem 2 days after the update, the DLC button was no longer visible and all the mods were back.

open your serverDZ.cfg and insert the following line (I inserted it before the map).

steamProtocolMaxDataSize = 1024;

if 1024 doesn't work, try 2048 or 4000

Thanks @Silverridge, I'll try that in the morning. Let me link you the temporary fix, I know Mclane took it down as it might affect the new map. It fixed all the problems I had, there was some admins I know that were going in the editor to manually fix it all.

Careful with that. Hosting it potentially could lead to trouble. It also doesnt fix everything, RIGS and KMUC will still be messed up with this in place.

What do they want us to do? I guess I could always fix all the custom map files in the editor but that's no fun. I'm trying to finish up a server currently, if they dcma it that's kind of low.

So I like this update, freshened up the cherno experience except the connection issues. Once the server gets half full groups of players are getting kicked, seems pretty random, sometimes me and ten other players get kicked at the same time then all que up to get back in. Sometimes it’s me and my teammates other times just one of our group, but always a third of the players on the server. I’ve got fibre straight to my router and have wired to the PC. Ping fluctuates between 15ms and 60ms. So I’m not sure if there’s anything to be done at my end.

Whilst driving we open direct chat and keep talking, if anyone cuts out we have to stop the car, wait for the toon to disappear and then reverse the car and wait for them to log back in. Pretty harsh game so this constant worry of being kicked during critical moments is making it harder to plan any serious gaming. Anyone else suffering from kicks on official DE servers? Are the devs aware of this and is there a fix in progress?@merropa93

BattleEye blocks loading of Track IR, not sure where to submit this, but I can no longer access the tracker. 

Example error message. Thankfully it's not persistent.

Actually you shall submit that information to the Battleye. Search in internet for BE site and submit that information.
