Tommygunz89 24 Posted February 1, 2022 I was thinking because we have 2 types of grenades maybe one grenade could be rare only found at helis a “raid nade” that does a lot of damage to walls, and the other nade could be more common at mili bases. The common grenade would still be effective for zombies and pvp but not very effective for base walls. Or just drop c4 at helis and nerf grenades on walls. Then again I guess none of this matters cuz DUPERS 😫
WOLVERlNES 135 Posted February 1, 2022 Russian frags do more damage than US. Souse Russian grenades on bases over US.

US might have higher damage range though, same baseline damage though.
General Zod 1118 Posted February 1, 2022 Bases are already so easy to raid I'm amazed people bother making them. I don't think we need more powerful explosives when it takes so few grenades to blow a wall up.

It doesn't mention damage values of grenades at all. I further went to his youtube website and looked for related information. I didn't find any. Could you post a link to the exact source? Derleth 1357 Posted February 4, 2022 Checked the explosives config in the game files, it seems both grenades and the gas station explosion share the exact same base damage value. However the M67 grenade has higher values for "indirectHitRange" and "indirectHitRangeMultiplier" which implies that the initial damage drops off slower so they damage in a wider radius than the RGD5. That's something I have noticed in-game too. It is possible that multiplier also means increased damage at the source, but that would be hidden in the scripts somewhere and nothing I know enough of this stuff to locate... All I know is that if you drop either nade at your feet you are toast no matter what. 1

WOLVERlNES 135 Posted February 5, 2022 In this tripwire guide, wobo talks about Russian Frags being better for chain reactions — which might tie into why they’re splash damage is better for base raiding. But I’m still searching for where I saw they are more effective in taking down fences and gates.
