Average life expectancy, really?

Is it me or has the life expectancy gone from around 4 hours 30 mins, to only 30 minutes?

Is this due to all the noobs just walking into the nearest coastal city and PKing or being PKed, this must be the case. And in which case i urge all noobs to venture inland..

Is 2 minutes all it generally takes for people to check landmarks and respawn roulette?

But that sounds good, I was worried all of the instant respawns for better positions was messing with the average.
