There's a group of 15 - 18 people that I & a few other people have been keeping tabs on in 1st Person servers raiding off of 3 individual players using scripts & other hacking software Capping all weapon/item spawns on just about every server 1PP & returning to their own Domain, so have fun with your Mosin & nothing else. They'll raid fortnightly or so often & grief/raid bases with ESP so no one can officially Base. They're also doing this with all 3PP Official servers now too lately, so anyone in official, I suggest bunkering down & always logging off with your prized possessions! I enjoy this game I really do but you've literally got a giant proportion of Chinese hackers that are really screwing this game so much it's unbelievable. Community servers are fun & all but Official is my thang! This year 2021 they raided my base on DE 1PP and week later I build same base on NL 1PP and still raided by the same Chinesee group! Last year I build base on DE (again same place) and it was my first time where I meet Chinesee hackers. Homeschooliazon 87 Posted March 10, 2021 (edited) Every time i play on public 3pp i get shot through walls by obvious hackers within the first half hour. Hackers that talk to me always have asian accents or straight up tell me that they are from china before headshotting me through a wall or similar things. The one time i met a hacker who did not have a thick asian accent he was from america and told me the only reason he hacks is to shoot chinese hackers haha xD Wherever they might be from, hackers have been ruining public (mostly 3pp) servers for the past year. It's been more & more prominent the past few Months quite actually, they may aswell be a Sidebar-Add flashing Advertisements. Server with Chinese Hackers/Raiders as follows >: SG 5038 around Novoselki Apartments Across from the GeneralStore & Construction Area around Novoselki, Currently have around 15 Steam ID's ready for that fat Ban Hammer to be quite frank! Sav-Tee 1 Posted August 31, 2021 Yeah they have been recently harrasing the SY-0978 FPP server the last few months, 6 seperate groups had their bases cleaned out in the same night, the other night my little group had our 3 little bases hit too while we were away from base. There was at least 6 new names to the server, all conveniently from China, they spend maybe 10-15 minutes on the server, then they would log off and then shortly after 6 or more new accounts, the ones with a combination of random letters and numbers jump on, most havent even set up their steam profile and if they have, 1 game, no friends etc. They are defiinately using duping thats guranteed but more so they seem to have the wall hacking ability and this killing from half way across the map, the server hives have to be isolated and make the game REGION LOCKED, there is work arrounds for the high ping, they could be using vpn's or some such. If hives were isolated, they have no need to server hop and do this rubbish, also region locking will isolate these incidents and stop the spread of hackers all over the world. What You bohemia has to understand, the game is great, it has a decent playerbase despite its age and competitors, to think how the numbers could double if their wasnt an issue with hackers, imagine how many accounts / players have stopped playing because of these scummy people. I have seen at least 30 people on my server alone stop because of hackers, they just don't want to deal with it. The game averages 25k at a time, it could easily be double if official servers were protected more, not everyone wants to rely on private servers and nor should you to police your game. Are you content to just make the sales and profit and not care how the state of the game is after all these years? or your reputation? The problem is far more widespread than a measly 15-18 people. This problem goes way, way beyond DayZ. Way beyond video games. Chinese hackers are in every corner of the world and it's well beyond the scope of Bohemia Interactive. Been going on for decades. The whole world knows this. Yes, it's endorsed by their government. Idk about DayZ though bc it's been quite a while since I've seen a legit "hacker" or script kiddie. Last time was in 2015 when I was running near elektro and watched all of my gear disappear piece by piece as if someone was dragging it off my character.
