Crankgorilla 9 Posted December 7, 2020 Two days in and all that happens is starving to death. There's no food anywhere. I don't need clothing so much as I need food. Yes you may be able to fish, but the chances of finding all the bits to make that happen is slim. Not enough food. Can't eat worms even. Can't catch and eat chickens without other tools. This whole game is a pile of steaming shit. Same mesh interiors, blocked doors, raincoats that don't protect from the rain. If it rains you pretty much got to wait it out or get wet and get a virus, which kills you in the same day. Can't go one day without character starving to death? What are you people doing? Do even live human? You don't die of starvation in one day you fkn idiots. A cold doesn't kill you in one day. That would make it more dangerous than the zombie virus. The menu system is clunky and shit. Can't even swap between weapons without opening the menu. Don't reinvent the wheel. There's so much shit mechanics in this game, it's going to be hard to find enthusiasm to continue. Fix the food issue with more food to find and longer starvation meter. I could do that in five minutes with the game engine. What is wrong with you people? You are close to something gold in concept, but you've got some idiots working for you. In the case of chickens I love that you can not pick up a chicken carcass and carry it with you until you can find an instrument suitable for butchering the animal. You can carry a whole fish, just not a chicken. How about being in a pumpkin patch and starving to death because you don't have a knife? You can't just bust the pumpkin on the ground, or kick it in with your boot. about fishing.. you can get a lot of quality food by fishing. Its easy to come up with the components you need. You can make a make-shift fishing pole. I have not had to do that though as I find a lot of fishing rods at a shipyard near my base. You can find hooks there too. I have made hooks out of bone. There has never been a game that has come out that's anywhere near the realism for survival. The game is very hard at first but once you master food the whole map and experience opens up. Keep at it and dont give up. But If the game turns out to be too hard It's just you may be a low IQ player. And there's nothing wrong with that, some ppl are just born stupid. They starve to death and collapse within a day. It's not realistic, don't try to convince people it is. I like the idea of a difficult survival game but this still needs a lot of work. I haven't even begun to pick the full flaws of this game. If you think this is great, you got no idea what you're talking about. It's more tedious. A lot of the actions are not worth the effort. The chances of finding a cure was next to zero. I don't even know what this game has as a cure. Antibiotics? I had some multi-vitamins, that didn't work. Between juggling the bullshit food meter and catching a cold three times a day, this game is not hard, it's just bullshit. Fix it. I have high hopes for the sequel.
