Marcy mark 10 Posted May 13, 2020 So ive got a character whos lasted quite some time and has being surviving well then all of a sudden he randomly gets the sickness disease. I hadnt eaten or drinking anything to catch it and the water i drink is from water pumps and i ensure my guy washes his hands, the food i eat is grown like tomatoes pumpkin seeds etc and i always eat food in pristine condition, hes not eaten any raw mest etc. So i managed to make it to a hospital but nothing is spawning at all and ive left waited outside and gone back in checking every few mins yet nothing spawns. Do diseases randomly occur? if so thats ruined the game for me and makes playing pointless Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

drgullen 596 Posted May 13, 2020 There is a random chance that your character will get sick from being cold. For example, if you're out in the rain long enough, you may catch a cold which is curable by taking several vitamin pills. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Marcy mark 10 Posted May 13, 2020 No it wasnt that either as i make sure to get in cover during rain and remain dry and get a fire going when the temp dropd plus i was taking vitamin and codiene pills but the illness never went. Very strange.. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

JoeyB123 6 Posted May 14, 2020 What's the illness? Vomiting, coughing/sneezing etc? Interestingly enough on my latest character I caught a cold/flu with no obvious cause, never happened before, usually it seems to be when your character gets cold for a while, however my temperature never went into the blue (cooked meat in my jacket lol) and my hunger/thirst where never bad. I cured the cold with tetracycline pills, it went away, but about 5-10 minutes later it came back despite my condition being good, no one was near me to infect me.
