Found one with DMR, M24 and SVD mags this week. Much nicer than the STANAG one.

I know boxes like that spawn at heli crashes (and not all the time, ie there's a percentage chance), so I guess it's possible they could spawn at barracks' too. They tend to either have STANAG mags, or DMR and SVD mags (from what I've seen).

Good question; I'm not sure what effect it has on spawns. It's like a medical crate though - you can't take it away you can only empty it.

I doubt it will break farming, people will always want to fill their tents up with guns and ammo. That and they are very rare, I have only ever seen one and that was at a Heli Crash. It's just another choice to make. Carry tons of mags for a gun you may not even have equipped in lieu of survival items, or carry a few mags and keep your food, drink, or med supplies.

They spawn in baracks and crash sites. They have some 25 magazines it them.

They are legit and theres two different types.

One box with 20 or so STANAG and 10 STANAG SD magazines.

And one with DMR, M24, SVD dragunov and if i remember correctly m107 ammo aswell.

Found one in a barracks and two at heli crash sites.

Well, if my minimal experiences with spawns in the hospital are correct, I don't think they hinder spawning. So that's cool.
