Do bottle suppressors still craft, I tried earlier but no joy?

little hint: if your duct tape has "few charge left" you cannot create a bottle suppressor

Also, it does not go to your inventory when crafted, but on the ground. So don't leave it there 😄

And after a couple of shots, they're useless anyway. I find not shooting your gun often is better than using a suppressor. Melee combat versus zombies is usually quieter and doesn't give you position away.

Of course, but for those occasions when you need it it's totally worth the effort and you will probably not need more than a few shots. Typically you can manage 2-3 shots before the suppressor is ruined, just enough to kill game or player silently.

I think I've just turned into sam Fisher on this game. I run around with my combat knife most of the time with my black clothing and NV goggles.

I was in Pavlovo military base recently however, the situation went south very quickly and I had shoot about 15 zombies, it was the most gunfire I'd used in weeks. Luckily, I was using a silenced USG so other players were not drawn to the action.

a full duct tape will let you craft 2 suppressors, I personally don't repair items with it to save it for suppressors unless I don't have the appropriate repairing item.

This^

It's for stealth situations only imo. Or masking your position from town to town.

Agreed.....  I rarely use it especially now that the duct tape glitch is fixed but it is quite useful in certain scenarios so I always appreciated the option.  ....on a sort of related note, I understand the whole game balancing / pro & con angle but manufactured suppressors should at least last longer than they do in the game.

Suppressors falls into the same category footwear does. It's unrealistic how quickly they dot. Especially footwear.

The duct tape glitch is slightly fixed. If you bind a friends hands using a duct tape that's partially used, when your friend wriggles free, he gets a full duct tape in return. Rinse and repeat for unlimited duct tape.
