IMT 3190 Posted October 16, 2019 Yes they do. You can refresh them by attaching nails to them. What I do is I grab a some nails, attach them to my parts, remove them again and go to the next part.

Mr.ZH 0 Posted October 16, 2019 And please bohemia... Why you let baseparts decay after 45 days? Its a imense work when you have a big base. It would be awesome without that. And whats the reason for that 45 days? I dont get it. its really annoying when youre in holidays and the decaydate is coming. 🤣

Dont know if you played ARK? But i stopped playing that because everywhere you look there are bases. Dayz won't feel apocalytic when all you see is man made bases. Thats why when you dont use it anymore it will dissappear. And 1 time in 45 days is a really small impact i think. At least enough to not have you do anything in your vacation. Mr.ZH 0 Posted October 17, 2019 The better way for that would be if the server owner can decide about that. He can see it in the logs if the base are used or not. The he can delete the base. Would be much better that way.

You have to look at it as your base needing maintenance at least once a month or so. As IMT said, remove some nails and put some fresh ones in -- that resets the counter, so you're good for another 45 days. I don't see what's so wrong with that system.
