JengoFettAZ 0 Posted October 13, 2019 Are the NVG goggles broken when attached to a helmet?? I read somewhere on Reddit that they didn’t work ATM...??? I have some with a good 9 volt and the only way I’ve been able to get them to work is to take them off my helmet and put them in my hands... Any help with this? One more question of a different nature... Anyone dropped a weapon and it get stuck in the floor? Had this happen today with my AK-74....🙁 Was pretty bummed out by that. Thanks for any info on this stuff! I’m still new and learning the ins and outs of this game.
S.Kaneda 59 Posted October 13, 2019 (edited) You must have a light beside your NVG on helmet to have the command be able to turn NVG on (both with 9V battery i belive), don't ask to me why, that the way it is with BI, one feature, one bug 🤣. JengoFettAZ 0 Posted October 13, 2019 Sorry but what’s a “light side”?

I see you edited it for me!! Thanks, that makes perfect sense now!!! Too bad I passed up about 10 universal flashlights! I’ll find another one and try it out. Thanks! Cyclic 12 Posted October 13, 2019 you do not need a light, if the NVG are on your helmet or you have the headstrap then you push up on the hotwheel to turn them on (provided you have battery)

If I take the torch off or do not have a working battery in it, "toggle lights" doesn't appear. But, as I said, it might just be my game.

Seen it All 68 Posted October 13, 2019 your nvgs will not work if you are wearing any type of eye wear

Jonas Levin 265 Posted October 14, 2019 Yes, they work just fine with eye-wear - I always wear my aviators and have had no need to take them off. But you will not be able to use any kind of long-range scopes when using the NVG - for that you need the NV-scope for the different AKs and SVD, that's might be where you got the impression about the eye-wear.
