A simple pencil...

Why not a pencil?
We can combine with the map for marking point of interest or with the paper for write note and we can sharpen with a knife to use it.

Pencil, papers and map markers were part of the game in the alpha stage, but had to be removed with the engine revamp and are still waiting for their re-implementation.

We know writing notes and making map markers are highly requested features and we hope to return them to the game eventually.

Plenty of important stuff is missing from the game. A pen is probably a pretty low priority.

If you look a pen like a pen, maybe.
But, if you look a pen like a system for making map marker, create strategy and message for team mate, then...
