Would it be possible to make rifles not reload automatically?

Recommended Posts

I want to be able to fire a long range shot and watch my bullet smack my target (or see where the bullet hits).

You eject the spent shell and put a new round in the chamber during that time. Would it be possible to change this or give us the option to reload automatically or not?

That would be a nice feature.

PUBG does something similar with their bolt action rifles. If you hold the trigger down it doesn’t re-chamber the next round, allowing you to see the impact, upon releasing the trigger the next round is chambered.

Scoping a target while reload would be realistic but a bit too harsh for the Dayz imo. Some poor guy on an open field would not have a chance, specially if they can't run because they hurt.

This is already a feature...

When you fire, continue to hold the trigger and it will maintain the scopes view until you release.

It applies to all current long range rifles that have a bolt action- M70 Tundra, Mosin, & CR-527
