Each time I try to plant pumpkin seeds the game crashes, is this a known thing?

@TheYetiBum has just mentioned in another thread that if you water before you plant the seed it crashes the game, so try watering after you planted.

I didn’t water before I planted at all, but when I tried to after planting and game crashed 3 times — it wouldn’t let me water at all.
