Stash persistence still broken?

Buried stashes Monday night on 2 separate servers. All gone. I’m assuming they despawned. Anyone else still having the same issue?

I have only ever buried a stash once. It was a sea chest up at lopatino. I was collecting parts for the car and stashing them in the chest. Went off for an hour and came back and it was gone. Then I sat in the car and died instantly, it was a glitched car! 

Now I don't bother with stashes, bases or cars. Just roaming the map on shanks pony!
