Odd encounter at Mil base

I was working my way through a mil base looting..or trying to loot as everything seemed to have been picked clean.

As I was heading to the next set of barracks I planted myself near a tree. Shorty there after I hear footsteps hastily making their way towards me.

This was not how I was expecting the scenario to play out:

Hehe, I could’ve gunned them both down, though I figured I’d see what their reaction would be. Plus, I tend to give others the benefit of the doubt, usually to my own demise..

His buddy didn’t hesitate to back out the second he got to the tree line. I tried talking to the other one, though they were certainly in party chat.

looked like me, jumping instead of doing an emote or switching a gun through quick wheel. got my friend to buy the elite controller and now he has the same problem hah. can you confirm?
