There was a thread of a similar nature before the forum reset, and I found it extremely helpful in determining whether or not I wanted to purchase OA so I could play DayZ. This information is also available via searching the forums, so I don't feel like I'm giving up any secrets or whatever. With continual added attention to the mod, I feel it's useful to have something like this so potential new players have a better idea of what they're getting into, and hopefully cut down on rage reposts, and help prevent Rocket from having to repeat himself.This is a work in progress and will be updated as needed and when I have time. I am working from his oldest posts to his newest posts as I assume his new ones are more visible. Regarding quote organization, if anyone has any thoughts on what the optimal presentation would be, feel free to pm me. Also, if any of the descriptions seem incorrect, things are categorized incorrectly, or the links are to nonrelevant posts, please let me know. If they saw that the idea could be taken as a single-player game then they would have gone for that. So what we've done here is we've, you know the gamers have spoken and said "we wanna see more of this", so... we don't have to worry about that so much. Its an alpha and its to be expected, but the standalone rocket hoped would be released in october, but realistically it could be until the end of the year. Even so, thats a very very short ways away but i havent seen much aside from a couple of interviews explaining parallels between it and minecraft along with other details like pricing with a few screenshots.I guess what im trien to say is i want to see and hear more about its development and maybe a video or 2 of gameplay from the work in progress standalone.
