Targaryen42 7 Posted November 4, 2018 (edited) i met a lovely lady for the first time in the game and for my first experience in zelenogorsk, she helped me find a water pump and not die! Im now learning new territory! Anyway, i have to say the loot economy is looking so far so good. maybe some more tweaking for mid game? im spawning right away, and even with my new discipline to walk to nwaf, my character is getting dehydrated right away. and are we supposed to spawn with yellow hydration? Other than that i have to once again praise the devs. i found the new fire house! and i gotta say! thank you for expanding it, (and scaling out the whole game as a whole, as dayz mod was poorly scaled.) i have to say wow! you guys really thought out some of the reworks here...where there was a glitch to scroll climb onto the the ladder to the other side, (we have all done it) you replaced it with a hole so we can still go though. Thank you for that much consideration! You made yourself a fan! I also see that the UK, and SWE also have stress tests now! very cool! im happy to see that youre feeling confident in your network and server side capabilities! Seeing that really shows me just how far you have come! Keep it up and im really really looking forward to an experimental push of 0.63 in the next week or two here! And as Uncle from Jackie Chan Adventures always said....."ONE MORE THING!!!!" PLEAZ PLEAZ PLEAZ reiterate Hero/bandit skins how can you almost have 1.0 and not have hero/bandit skins? ..please lets face the facts...its going to stop alot of your player base from KOS on sight and give more depth to your character/actions in the world. It would create a whole community in the server/player side when one sees a bandit...you will probably want to save yourself first and fire some rounds into that dude. And maybe let them redeem themselves later on by gaining hero points back by blood bagging or reviving. It would be a wonderful feature to have in place. I can also see a problem with skins and someone will just make a new character, but how about a limited number of player slots for that not to be abused, but then we can have our characters the way we want. Lets say i have 4 hero skins but i got bored and i feel like banditing around...well i would have that option to play that way. Another problem i see is TDM servers..but perhaps that would be an option to be able to toggle on and off? Discuss? You can wear whatever pieces of clothing you find in standalone, and they have different capacity and protection attributes, too. If shooting a few people suddenly dropped your character into a KSK Special Unit uniform and gave him a cool shemagh I think the result would be a lot more people being shot... Some people suggest bandits should have "angry face", or scars, or bloody hands (but did they get bloody hands from processing a deer or from shooting a guy 500 m away?), or different postures, but you wouldn't be able to notice most of these looking over your sights at a little moving character 300 yards away. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Targaryen42 7 Posted November 5, 2018 (edited) Maybe it could show normally for the player and for anyone else it would show the bandits skin. So in the bandits menu you can have your snake skin stripped beanie showing on your person, giving you a warmth modifier, but he would display a bandit skin. Perhaps being a hero you would have the perk of showing off your clothes a little more. After all...bandits dont want to be well known...do they?
