Wolf1776 37 Posted October 9, 2018 Hello survivalists! I'm wondering if anyone has any tips where I can hunt elk. I've heard them in the Black Forest and near Green Mountain but could not locate them. Right now I'm going from PvP to get that bug out of the way and I'm going survivalist. I hunted that huge hill we came across for nearly an hour and found nothing other than some nice scenery... IdealBicycle641 16 Posted October 10, 2018 If your standing on the shipwreck facing inland the woods on the right always seem to spawn elk in my experience. Never had ammo to kill one at the location. I've killed wolves up west of Tisy by backing myself into a corner of a fence and going bat shit crazy with my axe after I ran out of the 4 bullets I had on me. I saw what I would call a herd of goats? Probably sposed to be sheep but looked and sounded like goats to me just east of the NWAF. Cows seem to spawn around the farms south of Tisy. I posted this thread to see if there were actually any hunters playing. He drift if you're following I wouldn't mind hunting with you. I've got a good bit of wolf meat on me. I'd like to switch to the mosin but until the bug is fixed I'm running an Akm. I am friendly I PvP but there's other games for that ya know? Lukemayhem 1 Posted October 14, 2018 Try the western edge where all the hunting and feeding stands are up in the mountains. You will hear them before you see them. It just seems to come down to luck I find. Usually you will find one bull(male deer) with ever two/three cows(female deer). It would be good if we got tags for kills to exchange for cool loot. Also, if they run away, they wont despawn. They just run hella fast, sometimes up to a few hundred meters away in seconds.
