Backpack inventory theft

I've looked through the topics and I apologize if I missed this anywhere... In the PC version, I've seen players loot (steal) from backpacks being worn by other (living) players. Can this be done in the Xbox version? I haven't had the gall to try this as it's just not within my ethics and I wouldn't dare get that close to another player with their back turned to me.

You could try it with a friend.

Ive played with multiple people though haven’t noticed that prompt. I’ll see if it’s an option late tonight. I don’t believe it is yet, same with checking ones pulse.

As far as i'm aware its only when players are unconscious for Xbox at the moment.

Tried it with my brother when his back was turned lol. No it doesn't seem to work on Xbox. However, I didn't test during  a knockout, maybe next time I'll give that a shot when he is unawares...
