How do I use an in house fireplace?

Title. I cooked on a stick, trying to expand my options. Help appreciated.

Make a fireplace, don't light it up, pick it up and aim with it at the fireplace. It will put it inside. Add wood if needed. Light the fire.

Take pot, fill with water, add chicken, mushrooms, or apples. Add salt as needed.

Put on fire.

Serve hot.

 

Dishes: 1-4

Difficulty level: easy

Est. Prep time: 3 min if you're a pro, 7 trees if your are new.

Cooking time: 30 seconds

To make a campfire combine a long stick with a bandage, chop some firewood and Micromanage it into the fireplace fuel once it is setup :)

I can't put the pot in the stove. Only prompt I get is to Extinguish Fire. With and without chicken.

Not really I don't think, but fuel is needed to burn the fire else it will burn out quick.

I figured it out.

You gotta drop logs, sitcks, and or the pot into the vicinity and then micromanage them into the stove.

You can also Micromanage it from your inventory if that makes it easier :)
